Castings - Production and Heat Treatment

We can manufacture the castings in gravity or low-pressure casting process into moulds. We have also acquired the technology for squeeze casting recently.

These technologies provide at the appropriate quantity of castings a very good alternative to the sand casting or high pressure die casting. The attainability of accurate casting shapes and dimensions in tight tolerances reduces the expenses necessary for further machining and surface treatment. Production capacity - 8.1 tons / day

In the manufacturing process of gravity and low pressure casting, we use also sand cores produced by the Cold Box method.

Castings - operations carried out in the manufacturing process of castings

Trimming and grinding the risers and gating systems
Blasting with corundum blend
Heat treatment of castings by the solution annealing followed by hardening, or annealing only (so-called natural ageing)
Pressure tests of castings to a maximum pressure of 6 bar.
Assembling according to the customer’s specification
In subcontrqcting, according to customer’s specifications, we offer the machining, impregnating and surface treatments.
